We are pleased to announce that British Council Armenia will be organising a professional development conference for English language teachers in March 2026 entitled Teaching for Success.
About the conference
The conference will be organised over two full days – on 28 February and 1 March 2026 – face-to-face in Yerevan, Armenia in partnership with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the National Centre for Education Development and Innovation, and Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University.
The conference’s overarching theme is Quality Teaching for Quality Learning: Evidence, Innovation and Impact in support of Armenia’s new CPD framework for teachers adopted by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
The conference aims to provide a platform for exploring current trends and practices in English language teaching through the lens of Armenia’s new CPD framework and its professional practices, while offering teachers a platform to connect with their peers and share experiences with one another through talks and workshops.
Call for proposals
We are seeking talk/workshop proposals from teachers, trainers and researchers in Armenia to provide new learning, understanding, skills and/or inspiring ideas for teaching professionals across the entire spectrum of the sector.
As well as talk/workshop proposals, we also offer a stage for speakers to deliver short, structured talks on their teaching and educating success stories, to be shared with their peers and the wider public as part of the conference’s ELT Voice section.
Each teacher/educator can apply for both sections separately.
